Space Folds Around Us reads as a collection of snapshots into a blurred, imaginary world. A place where we were, where we are, where we could be. The process of making the pieces is like the process of remembering; with each roll of the brayer and with each layer of paint changing and fading. The paint is the trace of movement, of remembering, re-remembering, imagining, and re-imagining. Yet the pieces hold a stillness that brings us back to now, to the space that folds around us.
